Ahoy oy
It's Esteban wishing you a glorious weekend.
I am slightly headachy this morn as I was out late last night with my good friend Fat Mike. By the by, you have got to check out Fuse's new show NOFX Backstage Passport premiering April 15th.
Now usually Fuse asks me to kindly let you all know about new shows but this time I'm doing it all by my lonesome because I love the show that much.
It's brilliant and you will love it. So watch it.
Now back to the Untitled. I am adoring all the viewer mail you send in. As I always have and my adoration swells for you folks who remember to put YOUR REAL NAME AND WHERE YOU ARE FROM ON THE MESSAGES. This is paramount people. You'll find out why soon enough.
We had a great week with Anti-Flag, the interview will air next week. I love those guys. Such great, great dudes. Their new album is sick SICK. Go get it when it comes out. Should be soon.
Ugh - curse you Fat Mike!
hugs,
Steven

Hellooo loyal Rock viewers, today is quite a busy day here in SURS land.. We JUST finished putting together our first Taste of Chaos 2008 episode and I couldn't be more excited about it. We've got great interviews with the boys of Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet for My Valentine, plus tons of great footage from the festival. Hey, if you were there at the show on Saturday, which took place at Asbury Park NJ's Convention Center, you just may spot yourself. And if you weren't lucky enough to be there, well then you can at least feel like you were when you watch the show..
I have to run, got more Taste of Chaos madness to get too, but me and the rest of the Rock Show crew will be blogging about our Taste of Chaos experience, so make sure you check the blog out over the next few days.
And don't forget, we'll be bringing you all our Taste of Chaos footage over the next few Wednesdays, so don't miss it!
Before I sign off, I've got to ask you TOC'ers: What part of the tour are you most looking forward to? Is it a chance at seeing your favorite heavy hitters play in your hometown, the myriad selections of cool merch, checking out the new rock revolution known as J-Rock or just a chance to throw your fists in the air and slam your head to the music? Or something completely different.. feel free to comment cause I'd love to know!
Keeping it chaotic, and not in the Britney sense........
~siouxSHE
PS. I apologize to all you SURS fans for not properly introducing myself in my previous posts, when you do the job I do, things get a bit hectic and I am constantly wondering 1 of 2 things: Where did the day go? and How can I clone myself?
Anyhoo, I'm Sue and I'm the producer for the Rock Show...have been for quite a while but I've been dragging my bum on posting. But I make a pledge to you guys that the whole SURS team will be on this thing a bit more.. So much so that I hope you don't get sick of us! Oh, and I'll be posting as siouxSHE, a nod to one of my favorite ferocious female singers- Siouxsie Sioux.. cause c'mon, you've got to make it interesting, right!

| Whuzup my peoples! We just returned from a super chaotic weekend hanging with your favorite bands at the Taste of Chaos tour. OH what a time we had. Talking Iron Maiden with Bullet For my Valentine. Hanging out post show with M. Shadows and Synster Gates. Talking all things Rokk with Atreyu. Meeting your new favorite band Idiot Pilot and sharing fave hip hop poses. Learning why not to eat Krispy Kreme donuts from Bless the Fall. AND talking with the coolest J-Rock bands this side of Tokyo, Mucc, Despairsray, and the Underneath. Emrace the J, peoples, it's not going anywhere. And if you're wondering where the hell the show has been this past week? That's an amazing question but don't fret, we aren't going away and will be back next Monday, fresh faced and new with all the untitled rock madness. How we roll n shit. See you soon. Steven |

Ok, so it’s about time that I introduce myself to all of you SURS fans out there. My name is Steve and I’m the new segment producer for the show. My job is to edit all of the interviews and clips that you see on the show. I’ve gotta tell you that my job is just amazing! I get to work in music and tv with some of the greatest and nicest people I’ve ever met. Seriously! What could be better then that? It’s truly a dream job for me! To make things even better, tomorrow we head out to the “Taste of Chaos” tour in Camden and then Asbury Park on Saturday. I really can’t wait to get out there so we can start shooting some great content for all of you to see. I’ve never been to “TOC” before, have any of you? I’d love to hear some of your stories if you have. Who was your favorite band? What was the most memorable thing you saw? Did you meet any new friends while you were there? Let me know. I’d also love to hear from you if you haven’t had the chance to go but have always wanted to. I look forward to hearing some of your stories.
… Steve F.

No, I'm not a doctor, but what better way to grab your attention for today's charitable Rock blog postings? Plus, I love quotes and song titles. But I'll save all that for another post!
Like my fellow Rock Show teammates, I like doing good, whether it be contributing money for a worthwhile cause, signing a petition for a pressing matter, buying a shirt to wear my charity literally on my sleeve or even sending an easy email that's already been written for me. Honestly, in today's technological age, it's so easy to find out information about things you feel strongly about and even easier to get involved. While Bruce and Steven are the kings of all things charitable, I wanted to share a few of my favorite pet causes. You see, I'm more the animal and environmental kinda gal. What can I say? I'm a tree/animal hugger at heart...Just don't tell that to Steven!
While I don't always have all the time in the world, I look for easy ways to do my daily allowance of good. I've found, for me, email and on-line sites are best. Want to get involved but just don't have the time, then check out this site: www.theanimalrescuesite.com. All you have to do is click the colored box on the site and they donate 100% of ad revenue to their charity partners. And it's not just for animal lovers. Their sister sites include helping the rain forest, funding to fight breast cancer, illiteracy, children's health and hunger. And again, all you have to do is go to the site, or any of it's sister sites which are all linked, and click. That's it, no signing your life away, no pages and pages of copy to read through. Here's a helpful hint to make it even easier to get involved: I put it as a bookmark on my computer so there is no way I can forget to check in every day. Now you don't have to go that crazy, but when you think about it, putting in less than 2 minutes of your time to visit 6 connected websites AND you're helping multiple charities at once, it doesn't get any easier than that! I call it the lazy woman's way of helping, but in the end what matters is that I'm helping, not necessarily how I did it, right...Oh, and did I mention it's FREE?
I truly hope you guys feel inspired by today's postings and find a cause you feel strongly about. The best thing about charities, in my opinion, is there is something out there for everyone. Love pets? They've got tons of charities that need help, be it on a local or global level. Love the environment? They've got web sites and organizations for that too. Love disposed garden gnomes? I'm sure they have something for that, although whether it is a charity or support group is anyone's guess!
Personally, I'd love to hear about some of your favorite charities because as I said, I don't always have the time to do as much good as I'd like. But I hope you guys were inspired by us here at the Rock show and we're always looking to be inspired by you... Because you're why we do this whole thing, you know. And we can all learn a little from each other. Just as easily as we can all spend a little time and effort to help others out.
On that note, I gotta jet.. there is a tree outside that looks a little lonely....
TTYL,
siouxSHE

As you will read or have read below, charities and non-profit organizations are close to our hearts at the Untitled Rock Show. I'll also ask you to take a second and check out all the ones mentioned in the previous posts and past episodes of the rock show by ProBRUCEr and Steven. Along with those, one that is close to my heart and I'll urge you to check out is: SUSAN G. KOMAN for the Cure (Breast Cancer Foundation). Go to the website and check out the yearly event that I try to attend: Race For The Cure. Also, let us know which ones are close to you!

Zup my Untitled brethren. Today we are focusing on charities and non-profits which are near and dear to our untitled hearts. I have learned about all of these groups by being part of the Rock Show and am thrilled to let you in to our community consciousness. Below are four of my favorite charities and rather than me going off on why they are awesome PLEASE click on their sites and read what they are all about. I've personally met all of the founders of these organizations and they are just about the most amazing people you'll ever meet. Shirts For a Cure - http://www.merchnow.com/shirtsforacure/ Music Saves Lives - http://www.musicsaveslives.com/ To Write Love On Her Arms - http://www.twloha.com/ Skate 4 Cancer - http://skate4cancer.com/ Now it's your turn. Let us know some of your favorite charities and non-profits. It's kind of what punk is founded on. So let us know. hugs, Steven |

Take Action Tour is the subject of today's very special episode of Steven's Untitled Rock Show, airing at 4:00 p.m. ET (1:00 p.m. PT), featuring videos and interview clips from headliners both past and present.
Since today's episode is all about one of the more well-known pro-social campaigns in our music community, I've asked the Rock Show team to weigh in today with blog posts about any causes near and dear to their heart.
I've already told you all about the charity I co-founded, The Sean McGrath Fund here on the blog, and I'll definitely keep you in the loop on assorted fundraisers we endeavor over the coming months.
We plan to use the Fund to help out not just cancer charities, but also other socially-minded projects that we think Sean would have gotten behind.
Aside from my own fledgling non-profit organization, though, there are a lot of other causes and issues near and dear to my heart, and I'll hit on a few of them below!
Invisible Children seeks to end the practice of recruiting child soldiers in Uganda and improve the quality of life for children in that war torn country. You saw them featured in Fall Out Boy's video for "Me and You" and now the good folks at Eyeball Records have dedicated the second volume of their Eyeball Awareness benefit compilations to Invisible Children. They're also doing a benefit mini-tour this month, culminating at their label showcase at South By Southwest on the Ides of March.
Shirts For A Cure also participate in South By Southwest in Austin, and their showcase is one of the "must see" concerts there each year. SFAC is one of our favorite causes both on the Rock Show and within our rock community. They've recruited the help of hundreds of our favorite bands, who donate t-shirt designs with proceeds funding breast cancer treatment for underpriveleged women through the Syretha Savio Endowment.
Burma Border Projects is a small NGO (non-government organization) devoted to refugee relief projects for displaced citizens of Burma, particularly from the persecuted minority Karen and Shan tribes. The brutal crackdown on last fall's pro-democracy protests led by Burma's Buddhist monks brought the abuses of the military junta to our front pages, underscoring the importance of BBP's work.
Funding from BBP helps provide refugees and migrant workers with psychological trauma therapy, medical/dental care and training, improvements to clinics and orphanages, funding for schools, and programs addressing the economic and social empowerment of refugee women.
Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America is a non-partisan organization dedicated to serving the needs of the veterans of our current incursions in the Middle East. Thousands of our soldiers are coming home with severe physical and psychological impairments requiring treatment that is all too often slow to come...if the vets ever receive proper care at all.
IAVA advocates for funding, legislation, education and amendments to military operations to truly support our troops. Regardless of your viewpoint about our current military, supporting IAVA is a lot more meaningful than just sporting a bumper sticker or a yellow ribbon! There's a great introductory video about the group at this link.
I'm curious to hear from all of you about various charities you support, as well as the ways in which you help them. How do you help make our world a better place? Post your passions in the comments section here on the blog!
Cheers,
proBRUCEr
