You've no doubt heard by now about the tragic loss of Casey Calvert of Hawthorne Heights who died in sleep this weekend while on tour. I speak for all of us here at the Untitled, our hearts and thoughts go out to his friends and family and to the rest of the band. You have our deepest sympathies.

Happy Day of Killing a Defenseless Bird and Eating It
Which is what I intend to do, short of killing it myself. I will eat it. With relish.
Happy Thanksgiving to all our fans! YOU are what I'm thankful for.
Rock and/or Roll.
your friend,
Steven

Shhh...can't talk now. Motion City Soundtrack are here and they are playing live! It's the greatest thing ever.
If you don't have their new record, "Even If It Kills Me" then you're stupid. Go get it.
Gots to bolt!
hugs,
Steven

And goshdang rocking! That's how we roll. You got it, even in my
sentence structure I can't help but write rock and roll.
Who
knew? Who frickin' KNEW?!! Way back in December of 2004 a little
half-our show devoted to GOOD music would attract legions of fans (such
as you) and become THE stopping point for all artists young and old. We
kind of rock.
I mean, come on, how many television shows can
boast interviews with Bad Brains AND Depeche Mode, Iggy Pop AND Social
D, all members of Bad Religion plus the first ever TV interview with
NOFX, and still be credible enough for an impromptu phone conversation
with Ian Mackaye that he approved and loved.
Your favorite
bands come on, our favorite bands come on, we play your favorite videos
and we rock your world with Rock 101. I love how so many of you have
emailed me saying you got turned onto my all-time favorite band
Jawbreaker just by watching. It makes me so happy and proud to have
such hard-core music people devoted to the same things we are
And
you the fans. Every time I'm at a show and someone comes by to say hey,
or at Warped and so many of you want to talk, it makes me feel
wonderful and know that there are like-minded people out there. When I
was in high school I had a small group of friends, now I feel like I
have a nation. An Untitled Nation full of Untitled Rock Fans.
This isn't my 500th episode, it's ours.
all my love,
Steven
