Initiate Warped Drive, Chewie!

Posted on June 28, 2007 at 12:12 PM

Hi, everybody!

Andrew the Intern here, heroically filling in once again for Steven to bring you your Thursday bulletin. “Where is Steven this time, and how could he abandon us like this and leave us with his filthy intern again?” You ask? There’s a good reason: he and the rest of the Untitled crew are away at Warped Tour in California this week! Well, most of the Untitled crew, that is. I meanwhile am up to my own fun-loving punk-rocking antics back here in NYC… by which I mean I’m sitting alone in the Untitled office and making sure no one takes anything!

But back to Warped. We have interviews lined up with pretty much every band in the world. Ever. So if you like bands that have ever existed in the world, you’re in luck! Here’s who we’ll be hitting up in Cali, with more to come later on the east coast: The Almost, Amber Pacific, The Automatic Automatic, Bad Religion, Bayside, k-os, The Matches, New Found Glory, Paramore, Pennywise, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Tiger Army.

Thanks to all who have submitted questions for these bands, and keep ‘em coming! Ask them anything! Ask them all the dirty things we’re afraid to ask by ourselves for fear of looking grossly unprofessional! The team will hit the Pomona, Ventura, and Mountain View dates, so stop by the Fuse tent and do say a friendly, uncreepy hello if you see them. Then in a few more weeks, we’ll be hitting DC and Scranton, PA.

Just how are we going to handle all this Warpage? Simple: the return of Fuse’s WARPED WEDNESDAYS. For the uninitiated, that means every Wednesday’s Untitled will feature a full hour of top quality Warped-centric programming just for you! Now for some reason the network won’t let us air the Untitled at every hour of every day, but don’t despair—there is so much more to Warped Wednesdays than just our humble program...

Don’t forget to watch Steven and co. on The Sauce for all the latest in Warped news, and check out Loaded for videos from all your favorite Warped bands. Basically just keep it tuned to Fuse Wednesdays between 2pm and 9pm ET for your full Warped dosage. Any other time you need your fix, just visit fuse.tv/warped for the Warped Photo Contest and our new and improved Warped Invasion game (which has effectively halted my productivity for the week. Don’t tell anyone).

Then, in July, just try and guess who will be dropping by the Untitled studio… WRONG! It’s Bad Brains! So don’t delay, hit us up on myspace with all the questions you’ve been waiting your whole life to ask these legendary punk rockers and reggae-ers (No seriously, you probably weren’t born yet when they started).

And as always, keep your questions coming for the man himself, Steven. Remember that no holds are barred and nothing is off limits—not boxers or briefs, not the price of a gallon of milk, not why his walls are plastered with homemade life-size posters of Full House’s Kimmy Gibbler. Actually that one is; that last one is off limits.

Well that’s about all for now and golly, was that a mouthful. My voice is tired from reading to you in your head. Now if you’ll excuse me, I must go water Steven’s Untitled Plant; if it dies I will certainly be fired. But if it survives the week, he’s gonna let me get an Untitled Puppy!!

Yours in Warpedness,
Andrew the (Warped) Intern

P.S. Warped Warped Warped. Warped.

STOP! Warped Time!

Posted on June 21, 2007 at 04:11 PM

STOP!  Warped Time Seriously, is it that time already? I CANNOT believe it! The Untitled is getting it's ass ready to big kicked and coddled by the longest running tour in these United States of America. Can you feel it? I
can feel it.

We are going to be hanging with all of your favorite bands. Seriously, every single damn one of them. Well, the one's on the dates we are on that is. You see, we only head out for a handful of stops, bang out a grip of shows, and then you watch and love them forever.

And speaking of loving forever, our good friends at Ordinary Clothing are putting out an ass-kicking limited editions T-Shirt where all the proceeds go to CUREsearch to help end Pediatric cancer. The fundraiser is called Kill Cancer and that's what's on the shirts. Go buy one. Buy TEN. I'm buying one, don't you want to be like me? You KNOW you do.

Back to Warped, as always, we are looking to you to continue making us look bad by writing way better questions for your favorite bands than we do. Warped is no different. We want your questions, the more the better, here's who we are talking to, make with the love:

The Almost
Amber Pacific
The Automatic Automatic
Bad Religion
Bayside
Boys Like Girls
Circa Survive
Coheed and Cambria
Funeral for a Friend
Gallows
Hawthorne Heights
Killswitch Engage
k-os
The Matches
New Found Glory
Paramore-
Pennywise
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Starting Line
Tiger Army
Underoath
Yellowcard

How's that for a damn line-up?
And we want your questions?
How can we be that cool?
Well, we are.
And so are you.
If you see us out at Warped come say Hi.
We'll be in the Fuse tent the first week and then we'll be in DC and Scranton, Pennsylvania.  Ah Scranton.  Love the Office!

See you on tour!
until then and always,
Steven

Buenos Dias!

Posted on June 14, 2007 at 02:13 PM

I hope my filthy intern did me proud with my weekly online bulletin.  If he didn't, let me know and I'll give you his personal email address and cell phone number.

In case you were curious, I had a glorious time in Mexico.  It was very relaxing, read some good books, listened to some tunes, lounged by the water. It was quite nice.

I did however become a statistical gringo and got sick (102 degree fever) and had to be helped by a Mexican doctor named, and I'm not making this up, Jesus.  So, literally, Jesus saves.  He uses, B12 vitamins, who knew?

Well, I'm back, back for the attack and we are gearing our asses up for our favorite part of the year the Vans Warped Tour!!!  Oh, the excitement.  We'll be out in California this year, starting with the kickoff in Pomona, then off to Ventura and San Francisco.  We'll head back out for a couple dates in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and stop by Washington, DC, which is by my hometown of Springfield, Virginia.  If you live in the DC Metropolitan area then come by and say HEY!

Speaking of saying things, why not send us some questions for Straylight Run?  They are not only coming by to hang on the Untitled but will be performing live!  How cool is that?  How cool are we?  How cool are they?  Answer:  Most cool.

Keep those questions and emails coming! We love hearing your thoughts.  And we love you.

So much love.
Steven
