Word.
Couple things.
Check out this month's AP with Circa Survive on the cover.
It's there 100 Artists You Need to Know in '07 Edition.
Oh, and I've got a little column in there.
Heard the Echelon, 30 Seconds to Mars' street team is putting together a petition to get an episode of Loaded on Fuse. Very cool. I bet we could do it if we played the long version of "From Yesterday." That's an idea.
Lastly, it is with great sadness the Untitled Rock Show says goodbye to one of it's own. GirlAtThe UntitledRockShow is moving on. Her name is Rachel and she's been with us since the beginning. Rachel has decided to change careers. She'll still be at Fuse but instead of working on the rock show she'll be in the wardrobe department making sure I look awesome. Really a much harder gig when you think about it. The show will miss her.
And so will I. Greatly.
your friend,
Steven

so we're back from our whirlwind tour on Taste O'Chaos and I must say...
Touring sucks.
Now I know some of you out there starting your garage bands and looking forward to co-opting your parents suvs are saying "But Steven...that's (pouty lip) the best part of being a rock star -sniff-"
To which I respond, "Put a sock in it."
Touring is great if you're in a band. It's part of your life.
Every band I've ever spoken to says they can't sleep unless they're on a moving vehicle. It's for a specific kind of person. And the SURS team ain't those people.
This doesn't mean we didn't have a ball.
Kevin Lyman and his crew are some of the best people in the world.
They took complete care of us and gave us their bunks.
Which not many promoters would do. KnowhutI'msayin.
And of course the bands = awesome.
A very special out shout to our new best friends Evaline.
They absolutely ruled and I can't wait for their full length record.
You guys will have the best time at TOC.
So go. Just. GO.
alright
until next time

Word up kids, it's Steven and the Untitled Team are heading West for the Taste of Chaos Tour. We'll be schmoozing with all your favs, the Used, 30 Seconds to Mars, Aiden, Saosin, and Evaline. It's going to be awesome.
That is if I don't die from motion sickness.
You see kids, Steven gets really sick riding in cars, buses, planes, boats, space ships, etc. SO, if I look a bit green on the screen it's cuz I'm holding back my innards.
And now for an imporant editorial comment:
How cheezy do I look at the top of this blog?
I'm all serious and shit.
And apparently in need of botox.
currently listening to The Gaslight Anthem
yeah, you'll hear of'em soon enough
your friend,
Steven
Hope you had a nice Valentine's Day

Hi Everybody!
How the hell are ya?
It's Steven and it's been a long damn time.
I know, it's the internet, how long does it take to write a damn blog or do a video blog for that matter.
The answer, not long, but we have been rocking and/or rolling like mad peoples here at SURS central.
We head out on the Taste of Chaos this week and then to SouthbySouthwest soon thereafter.
It's kind of a big deal.
In other amazing rock news, I had the honor of seeing a secret Against Me! show at a little dive in NYC last night.
Yup, while you and your parents were watching the Grammy's, I was out with proBrucer watching one of the best bands today tear it up in the basement of a bar where patrons, including the owner, were rocking out in the pit.
I cannot wait to hear their new record. They begin mixing today.
I wanna go by and watch. Butch Vig is producing it.
If you don't know who that is, wikipedia bitches!
The opening band was called The Gaslight Anthem and I enjoyed them profusely. I look forward to their debut on XOXO Records (I hope to god that's the way they spell their label. Apologies if not.)
anyhoo, that's what I've been doing
that and watching a serious amount of 24
I'm a nerd
bite me
today I was listening to AFI Decemberunderground
your friend,
Steven

I recently came across your blog and have been reading about trauma therapy. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
