SURS LEFT COAST!!!

Posted on October 24, 2006 at 02:24 PM

Hi all,

If it hasn't already been drilled into your heads enough, we at Fuse (and yes, even the Rock Show) worked very hard on a little awards show called The Chainsaws and a little awards show pre-show, appropriately titled, Dead On Arrival.

Our number one priority has and always will be this here Untitled Rock Show, so while we were out in LA, we made sure to shoot a bunch of Hollywood-centric SURS episodes.  In addition to cruising up and down The Sunset Strip to school you on the some of the most important LA rock landmarks, we also took a tour of the EPITAPH RECORDS office with none other then owner/operator BRETT GUREWITZ of BAD RELIGION!!! The awesome folks at EPITAPH threw us a fabulous BBQ and invited HEAVENS, THE HIGHER, ESCAPE THE FATE, I AM GHOST and THE MATCHES to stop by!  We got awesome interviews with each band and we invited THE MATCHES to check out the guitar attached to our VW Rock-mobile.

You'll be able to see those four episodes starting the week of November 14th, so stay tuned to the calendar at myspace.com/surs for updates!

In addition, we also snagged interviews with our old friends SUM 41, THE USED, FALL OUT BOY, TRAVIS of GYM CLASS HEROES and GABE of COBRA STARSHIP while they weren't handing out awards at The Chainsaws.  These clips are airing tonight (Tuesday, Oct. 24th) and tomorrow night (Wednesday, Oct 25th) on SURS, but if you missed them, we're posting them online through the link at fuse.tv/steven.

And hey, if you can't watch them right now, at least you can look at these photos I took!
