Hola Ninos! It's Steven and I'm here to say...um...hey.
anyhoo. how you all been? I just got back from Montana where I shot and episode of our Untitled Rock Show with the greatest skater of all time. then I watched him and Bam and a host of other skaters rock vert and Mobash Skatepark the newest skatepark in Montana. It was pretty damn cool.
I know we haven't trotted out some new shows in a bit but we gots some on tap. Loads of new tours are coming up and you know we'll be bringing the pain on those. For starters we'll be talking to a few bands on the Ninentdo Fusion Tour. How you like them apples and pears?
So I've been spending time doing these Untitled Video Blogs on the Fuse website. Have you seen them? Let me know if you have. I want to know how many people are watching these things. My desk is very sensitive.
Wish I had something cooler to say besides Hi. But sometimes that's all you need.
Wish you were here.
Steven

Greetings, rock bloggers! ProBRUCEr here, and I just wanted to take a quick moment to let y'all know that I've created my own personal/professional MySpace profile, and I'd love for you SURS fans to add me as a friend!
I'll be posting photos from my rock travels; keeping a comprehensive calendar of tours, releases, festivals, and other fun stuff; and posting blogs on issues related to music, politics, and charitable causes. I'll also use that profile to keep you in the loop on any non-SURS projects I'm involved with, so please head over to MySpace and add me as your pal!
Cheers,
ProBRUCEr

PS - Yes, I know the generic layout stinks, but the profile's a work in progress, so I'll pretty it up for you soon!

We hear from unsigned bands constantly here at the show, and we know that most of you viewers are also friends with musicians who could use a little spotlight on their talent. Well, today we're introducing a GREAT opportunity for some of these talented folks to get some exposure right here on Steven's Untitled Rock Show!
Hit up www.fuse.tv/unsigned and upload your band's video (unsigned artists ONLY), so that SURS and the world can see/hear your stuff.
Starting next month, we'll be playing one band's clip on the show each and every week, leading up to a band showdown with our viewers voting for which artist is the best undiscovered act out there!
Once again, just visit www.fuse.tv/unsigned, share your video, and we might help you get some national exposure!
Of course, PLEASE feel free to forward this around and re-post anyplace that bands might see it! We want as many artists as possible to get on board with this amazing opportunity!
Cheers,
ProBRUCEr
PS - we'd love it if you'd post the banner from the top of this post on your MySpace pages, blogs, and anywhere else you can help us spread the word! All you have to do is copy and paste the following html code:
<p align="center"><a href="http://fuse.tv/unsigned" target="_blank"><img src="http://stage.fuse.tv/content/shows/banners/sursBandSearch468x60.gif" width="468" height="60"></a></p>

We received official word today that the rumours circulating the 'net the past few days are actually true: Branden is no longer their stick man. Here's the statement they released:
=====================================================
A NOTE FROM THE USED
Dear Friends.
It is with much sadness that we want to tell you that Branden is no longer the drummer in The Used. We felt that we needed to move forward without Branden as our drummer. We wish Branden well, and owe a great deal of gratitude towards him for his hard work over the years. We could not have gotten this far without him. We all wish much happiness and success in Branden's future endeavors - wherever they may lead.
No new drummer has been chosen yet.
We are almost done recording the album and it should be released in early 2007.
We are very proud of the songs so far and can't wait for you to hear them.
Love and see you soon,
Bert, Jeph and Quinn
=====================================================
I speak for everyone at SURS when I say that we love Mr. Steineckert to death (not to mention his pooch Radio, who also loved your ProBRUCEr to death - both on and off camera - when we were out on the first Taste of Chaos tour), and we wish him well in all that he does! Though with his production work at his own Unknown Studios and his board-n-gear company TwentyTwenty, we're sure he'll have his hands full for at least a while!
Cheers,
ProBRUCEr

As you saw in tonight's episode, Josh Latshaw of Boysetsfire was in a horrible accident while doing construction work last month and was seriously injured. At first it seemed like Josh's neck was broken, but fortunately, they downgraded the diagnosis slightly: several broken vertebrae and a busted hip. The great news is that Josh has already begun walking short distances in the hospital (with a walker), but he's still got a lot of treatment ahead of him, including about another month of in-patient hospitalization.
If you'd like to make a donation to help Josh's medical fund, or if you'd just like to drop him a note with your well-wishes, here's the contact info:
Josh Latshaw Donation Fund
c/o Artichoke Artisans
406 Suburban Dr #177
Newark, DE 19711
You can also make a donation via PayPal to Josh's brother's account through the email address jasonlatshaw@yahoo.com.
Thanks, as always, for being the caring individuals you are, and helping to look out for the other members of our music community!
Cheers,
ProBRUCEr

I was trolling around YouTube - as you do - and found a bunch of different uploads of one of my personal faves of everything I've done at Fuse: the final segment of our Taste of Chaos Tour special, featuring Bert McCracken and Gerard Way sitting in the back lounge of The Used's bus with me, answering questions the viewers submitted for them. Awesome!
And if imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, these bored young ladies flatter us plenty!
Weird! But awesome!
Cheers,
ProBRUCEr

I recently came across your blog and have been reading about trauma therapy. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
