Lady Gaga Sells 1.1 Million Copies of 'Born This Way'

The first- week numbers for Born This Way are official, and not only has Lady Gaga secured her very first #1 album, she's also driven the biggest album sales week since 2005, Billboard reports.

First week sales for Born This Way come in at 1,108,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan data, placing Gaga at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart. Her 1.1 million total is the biggest since 50 Cent passed the 1.14 million with The Massacre in March 2005.

The controversial 99-cent Born This Way deal on Amazon - offered on May 23 and again on May 26 - helped boost sales, with estimates of 400,000 AmazonMP3 downloads. Total sales from all digital retailers represent 60% of Born This Way's total sales.

Coachella Organizers Announce Plans to Double the Festival for 2012

Next year, the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival will happen twice, on consecutive weekends - with the same artists performing at the same venue.

On Tuesday, festival organizers announced that the event would expand to two weekends in April - the 13-15 and 20-22 - in an effort to accomodate more festivalgoers. But the aim isn't to create two unique festivals:

"Coachella 2012 will be two separate events, held over two consecutive weekends. We will attempt to produce two identical festival weekends. That means same lineup, same art, same place, different people."

Beyoncé Unveils '4' Tracklisting, Premieres New Ballad Live on 'American Idol' Finale

Throughout Wednesday Beyoncé revealed the tracklisting, song by song, for her upcoming album 4 (out June 28), via her official Facebook.

The excitement didn't end there, as the album also went up for presale on the diva's official website and iTunes, with fans getting an instant download of new song "1+1" when they ordered the album.

On top of it all, Bey performed the brand new song live on the American Idol finale Wednesday night, becoming an instant fan-favorite, as "Damn Beyonce" trended worldwide on Twitter throughout the night. Watch Bey's performance over at RapRadar.

Blink-182, My Chemical Romance Headline Honda Civic Tour

Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance are hitting the road for the 10th annual Honda Civic Tour, with support from Manchester Orchestra, Rancid and Matt & Kim.

The run kicks off August 5 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey and wrapping up October 14 at San Diego's Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre.
