wha?!?!?! Oasis has soo many good songs, they were pretty big in the 90's, you might know the song "wonderwall". If not wtf?!?!?!
"According to the Britain's NME, Noel Gallagher is happy with all the tracks. Which is fantastic news, as there is no way he could have said the same about Heathen Chemistry, or Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants"
What do you expect? Just who exactly comes out and says that they aren't happy with all their new tracks. You show me someone who does and I'll show you a moron.
"Hopefully, at least one tune on the album will be the equal of a classic Oasis track like Live Forever, or Shakermaker, or Wonderwall, or Hey Now, or Acquiesce, or Up In The Sky, or..."
Chances are there will be 11... and anyway, those five songs you've noted are five better songs than 90% of bands will ever write.
Also, they sound nothing like The Beatles. The Beatles are an influence, as are about 20 other artists on Oasis.
Whatever you do or are doing in life, I suspect you'll never achieve as much in your respective field as Oasis have done. Show some respect.
Noel did NOT say those things before their previous two releases - strange for someone who who has always been notably boastful, and for someone who once wrote b-sides that were better than most band's a-sides. The point is, if this new albvum is as good as he says, it will be awesome for everyone.
i love the song wonder wall and oasis is a good band not the best i have heard worst
Oasis are the best band in the last 30 years, even saying that the beatles were pish, over rated rubbish. This album will be great, even there average albums are better than most of the pish out there.
Get a grip lads.
To Charlotte, where r u from venus? You really don't know who oasis are? Jesus Christ where have you been!?
They were the biggest band in Britian for most of the 90's and had (and are still having) success in Europe.
They also had sucess in the US around 94-97. There the biggest and best band to come out of Britian for the last 20 years!
Keep the dream alive, Let there be love, Lyla, The importance of being idle are all new brilliant New Oasis tunes. No real disappiontment with the new album from my point of view.
I just think it's stupid how they were gonna do a double album and then decided not to. In all honesty there is so many absolutely amazing B-sides for this album which are better than some tracks on Don't Beleive The Truth, like eyeball tickler and take me.
This is great on the bands writing skills behalf. As such brilliant songs are made B-sides and should be made as a complement to them. But It just bugs me that some of there best work is written off as B sides (which is better than most bands work) and forgotten about.
This burn looks nasty, bloody sore as well. Yea i've seen the video, its really sad to watch.I could only imagine the pain he went through
Releasing this videofilm is a bit off uh.? Kept by Pepsi.??? 'Wonder if they signed-off on it as destroyed.
