Rumors are flying about a supposed lesbian tryst between Christina Aguilera and Paris Hilton at a party following the VMA's in Miami this past weekend.
Supposedly, Christina was at Tommy Puccio's party at the Raleigh Hotel, leaning back in a director's chair while two women danced provacatively between her legs. A witness says she even propped her ankles up on one of the women's shoulders.
Where was Paris? Watching the whole thing, supposedly, but soon had to get in on the action. Christina dismissed the lapdancers and made room for Paris. What followed, according to witnesses, was a pretty intense sapphic makeout session between the two.
This is all fine and good, but what the world really wants to know is, "Were the cameras rolling, and if so, where's the footage?" Given that I'm not sure it's possible for Paris to have sex without cameras present, who knows what might be hitting the Internet soon.

Apple today released pics and specs of the all-new iMac. It's basically either a 17" or 20" monitor with the CPU attached directly behind with a steel stand. Much nicer than the old lamp design, but it's design begs for it to be a tablet-like monitor that can be removed from the stand, carried around, accept touch-screen input and wireless connectivity. Maybe next time.

Oscar-winning (wow, he really did win an Oscar, didn't he?) rapper Eminem will drop his latest release, "Encore," on November 16, according to Interscope Records.
Em has kept a pretty low profile over the past year, despite appearing with his "band' D12 on a few tracks on their new album, but look for him to bust out everywhere soon. Also in the fall, Eminem will launch his hip-hop channel on Sirius Satellite Radio, which he will host and feature acts from his Shady Records label.
Here at Fuse, we're just hoping he'll come back to Daily Download and expose himself to Marianela again.

Their music may suck now, but their lives are enough of a trainwreck that they now qualify for reality TV status. Former Motley Crue members Tommy Lee and Vince Neil are gearing up for separate reality TV shows set to hit the small screen next season.
Lee recently inked a deal with NBC for a reality show that features him going back to college. The name of the show and premiere date is yet to be announced, aas is the name of the university that Lee will be attending.
Neil will star in the MTV reality show, "Thge Remaking of Vince Neil," which will document Neil's attempt at a comeback with help from a team of makeover artists.
As we've said before in Fuseblog, celebrities should never fear when their career goes down the toilet...there's always reality TV.

If the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy crew get their way, they'll be making over Kiss bassist Gene Simmons in an upcoming episode. According to Simmons' website, the producers of the show have contacted him about an appearance and he is mulling over the offer now.
I'm sure Carson ccan't wait to get a hold of that tongue.

First Ashlee Simpson tore up her sister Jessica on the charts with her debut release, Autobiography, and this week she stuck it to her old boyfriend, Ryan Cabrera.
Cabrera is the guy that no one had ever heard of until he was on The Ashlee Simpson Show on MTV who mysteriously released an album soon afterwards. Well, it's probably not that surprising if you consider that Cabrera is an old friend of the Simpson family from Dallas and is managed by Ashlee's father, Joe.
You gotta credit Joe Simpson for his marketing genius, though. Hey, I think I'll promote my new act on this reality show by whoring out my daughter to him while it's convenient. Brilliant, Joe, brilliant.

MTV has yanked dancehall star Beenie Man from a concert associated with this weekend's Video Music Awards after gay groups planned a protest, the network announced today.
Beenie Man hasn't exactly been friendly to homosexuals in past lyrics, which include lines such as, "I'm dreaming of a new Jamaica, come to execute all the gays," and, "Queers must be killed."
Beenie Man concerts have also been canceled thoughout Europe over the past few weeks as angry gay groups protested his appearance.
Not one to miss a bandwagon or an excuse for a new reality show, MTV also announced that "Queer Eye for the Dancehall Guy," will premiere next season.

Word comes today that Body Count guitarist Dennis Miles has dies following a battle with lymphona. Miles, whose stage name was D-Roc, was 45.
It isn't the first time Ice-T's band has been hit by tragedy. Drummer Beastmaster V succumbed to leukemia in 1996 and bassist Mooseman was killed in a drive-by shooting in 2000.

Britney Spears has announced that her boy toy/fiance Kevin "I look like that guy in Backstreet Boys" Federline will be featured in Spears' upcoming video for her remake of the Bobby Brown song, My Prerogative.
Also appearing in the video, which Spears has described as, "going to be like none other," is her brother.
Nice to see Britney staying true to her Southern roots by keeping it all in the family. To celebrate, check out these paparrazi pics of Britney shopping in L.A.

We here at Fuse are very happy about the Republican National Convention coming to town literally footsteps away from Fuse HQ at 11 Penn Plaza. The Republicans are so close we can reach out and touch them. If you work nearby, it's not terrorism you're really concerned about, it's how you're going to get to work and how many snipers you can spot while you're out on your lunch break.
Fuseblog will be hitting the streets in the coming days to document all the fun, excitement and sense of dread that's become synonymous with the RNC. Here's a few guys with guns to get you started. Check out the full photo album here.

We find it so shameless that non-sports sites are posting these Olympic volleyball photos as something other than sports news (what else could they be thinking?) that we decided to post them as an example of the shamelessness...or something like that. Do we really have to wait four years for more of this?

You wouldn't normally peg Dave Matthews as a polluter, but Dave, his band and one of his bus drivers are getting sued by the state of Illinois for allegedly dumping more than 800 pounds of liquid human waste into the Chicago River. The waste douses a tour boat filled with passengers.
Police allege that as the bus was crossing the Kinzie Street bridge, the driver emptied the septic tank through the bridges metal grates directly onto a boat full of 100 people on an architecture tour.
Talk about getting dumped on.

The Long List nominees for the annual Shortlist Music Prize, which honors critically acclaimed releases over the past year that fell short of mainstream commercial success, were recently announced.
The final 10 nominees for the Short List will be announced in September, but the Long List includes such luminaries as Loretta Lynn (whose Jack Black-produced album is a personal favorite), Dizzee Rascal, The Killers, Macy Gray and Patti Smith.
The winner gets $10K, which will help the artists pay back the record label for their lack of commercial success.

Big news today from Usher...he officially DOES NOT have a beef with Justin Timberlake. Whew, good thing we're going to avoid all that East coast vs. West coast hardcore pop stuff.
How did this royal rumble start? Supposedly Usher wasn't too happy that Rolling Stone magazine put Timberlake on the cover and annointed him "the new King of Pop."
Why would you want to be the King of Pop anyway? Things aren't going too well for the former one right now, are they? And a beef between Usher and Timberlake? I'd rather watch Tonya Harding on Celebrity Boxing.

The Dems may have Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M. and Pearl Jam, but the Republicans will be rockin' Brooks and Dunn and the Gatlin Brothers. Woo hoo!!!
Joining Brooks, Dunn and the Gatlin boys will be Leslie Ann Womack, latin gospel singer Jaci Velasquez and Christian rock band Third Day. The lineup is so lame that I don't even need to make a joke.
And who says the Republicans won't have any A-list celebrities to help further their cause? Look for Stephen Baldwin, Wayne Newton and Bo Derek to be making the rounds in NYC. Hmmm, could a Ben Affleck vs. Wayne Newton celebrity presidential debate be in the works?

As Australian band Regurgitator puts it, "Reality is dead. Music is dead. There is a dead horse lying in the middle of the road and we intend to give it a good flogging."
How exactly do they plan to do the flogging? By sealing themselves in a transparent, fishbowl container, recording an album and broadcasting it to the world on television and over the Internet.
If the project turns out to be as successful as some of their earlier releases such as "I Sucked a lot of C*ck to Get Where I Am," and "Bong In the Eye," the world will be a better place.

The man who is possibly the hairiest person on the planet wants to rock your world - literally.
China's 26-year-old Yu Zhenhuan is covered with hair on 96% of his body. Only the palms of his hands and the soles of his feet remain untouched.
Instead of hiding from the world due to his condition or being embarrassed about it, Yu embraces it and even uses it to publicize himself and his greatest ambition - to land a recording contract and become China's newest rock star.
Things haven't been easy for Yu. As a child, he faced taunting and ridicule and as an adult, many operations to remove hair from his ears, nose and gums. Despite the setbacks, Yu's attitude remains positive.
"If I had a choice now, I would want to keep all my hair," said Yu. "It's become my pride and not a burden."

Van Halen slapped baseball's Baltimore Orioles with a $2 million suit, alleging that the team reneged on an offer for the band to play a Sept. 2 concert at Camden Yards.
Sounds like ther Orioles made an offer that Van Hagar accepted, then later repudiated the agreement in writing after making Van Halen agree to not book another show in the area. Tour plans were re-routed, arrangements were made and when the team pulled the plug on the show, the band decided to sue.

Seminal punk band The Ramones will celebrate their 30th anniversary on Sept. 12 with a concert at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood. The special guest band for the evening is the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
CJ and Marky Ramone will be there as well, of course, performing their classics such as "I Wanna Be Sedated" and "Blitzkreig Bop" with help from the likes of Eddie Vedder, Henry Rollins and Pete Yorn. The show will be hosted by Rob Zombie.
Proceeds for the sold-out show will benefit the Lymphona Research Foundation and the Cedars Sinai Prostate Center. Joey Ramone died in 2001 of lymphatic cancer and Johnny Ramone was treated at Cedars Sinai hospital for prostate cancer in June.
L.A. bands X and The Dickies will open the show.

Great article in Viceland recently about Iraqui heavy metal band A.Crassicauda. Although metal and hardcore was outlawed during Hussein's reign, a little death and destruction and a semblance of freedom turn out to be great inspiration for some good 'ol death metal, Iraqui-style.
Gotta admire a band that dodges bombs and bullets on the way to band practice and is more worried about band members getting killed than leaving the band over "creative differences."

To celebrate the launch of Harmony, RealNewtworks has decided to temporarily slash single-song download prices to $.49/song. Harmony is the RealNetworks technology that basically hacks Apple's iPod to allow songs purchased through Real's music store to be played on the iPod.
The same report also cites wider corporate losses for Real. Sounds like someone's getting desperate.

When I was a kid, THE bike to have was the Schwinn Sting-Ray, unless your parents sucked and bought you a Huffy from Sears instead. Well Schwinn has caught the retro craze and decided to re-release the classic Stingray, as well as an updated version that looks more like a chopper than a bicycle.
