Lollapalooza 2009... a blast, right? So why not get a head start on Lollapalooza 2010?
Tickets are already on sale for next year's Grant Park extravaganza, and yes, there's an early bird special in play here. Beginning at 11a Eastern, 10a Central this morning, three-day passes for Lollapalooza 2010 will only set you back $175. That works out to pennies per band! Or something. And $175 is the real price—there's no service fee.

Tool headlined the South stage on Saturday evening. Their show may have drawn the largest crowd at Lollapalooza; surely, many of their fans were at Grant Park to see Tool and Tool only. Maynard stood at the back, silhouetted and mesmerizing. Their roadies wore white lab jackets. They opened with Jambi. It was a typically sick Tool show.

Very lame. I was pissed that you crammed 3 epic days into 1 hour. And why the hell would you advertise Coheed and Cambria on the TV if you didn't bother to put them into the lineup?
Glad I went to Lollapalooza this year, because your coverage sucked.
